Cornwall, and funny you mentioned Mousehole as I stopped off there for a couple of hours. I’d been before during tourist season, but it’s like going back a hundred years going there in January. That’s an epic voyage from your place! I’m toying with the idea of going to the Scilly Isles, but the only way there right now is a £270 return helicopter ride. Doable, but I’m not some jet set just yet 🤣.
Mousehole is a wonderful little village and is a great place for walking around to get fit as the streets are quite steep. I do remember feeling sad when I saw the memorial dedicated to the 16 people who died in the Penlee lifeboat disaster in December 1981. The memorial is in Penlee which is on the outskirts of Mousehole
