Thinking of you Clearpath
I don't sign on or contribute as much as I used to. Some days I really miss it here and wish I was more involved with the newer people. Although I am permanently sober and thankful I got here and can stay here without the time imposition of AA, I sometimes think the community that AA provides is something I would like in my life. Both to fortify my sobriety and to be able to give back to others who might benefit from whatever it is I can provide on their sober journey. There are a few people here and there on SR I have been lucky enough to "get to know" virtually.
So I logged in this morning because I wanted to see how CP was doing and read his post from a few weeks ago. I'm sorry to hear you decided to drink brother. I hope you are reading this and know that we are all here, SR is here and that sober life, that better, clearer, cleaner, more peaceful life, is here, waiting for you.
Here's to saying strong and sober this autumnal Monday morning. Grateful for this place.
