Why not start a new thread so that you can introduce yourself? That way, you won't get lost on this big long thread.
The forst thing that I learned was what is called the 3 Cs -
We didn't CAUSE them to drink
We can't CONTROL their drinking
We can't CURE their drink problem
In a sense, everything else flows from there.
