There is no reason to relapse. Don't listen to that BS. My mom had to go to a long term care place her last couple years of life. We made the best of it and knew she was getting good care.
I hope you can have some faith in yourself and your sobriety.
I think there’s fear but also sadness ruling me now. Trying to make the best of it by keeping my mom cheerful through daily texts and calls. 🙏
