I just recently changed careers ( not by choice ) and have a lot of similar questions Notch. I don't deal with Bi-polar but I do deal with Anxiety and have for quite some time. I have secured new gainful employment and I am fortunate to have a place to live, food to eat, and in general my life is "secure" in that sense - but what really does make one happy? Definitely not money or material posessions, at least not for long. I do enjoy gardening and being outdoors too, it's a little tough to garden in the climate here this time of year ( snow! ). More and more I do find that connections to others is one thing that does make me happy, and that has been difficult as of late too with restrictions/fears of virus threats, etc. I am hoping we are able to find a way to safely return to some of the activities that allow us to interact with others, that would make my 2010 much "happier" I think! I hope yours goes well too.
