Thank you for all the good wishes. The drains come out tomorrow and I imagine I will feel much better once they are removed. This has been hard on my family as well - due to covid, they can't come take care of me - everyone is out of state, too far to even drive in a day or two.. Although since I live in a small one bedroom apartment, perhaps it is for the best that no one can visit.
