AR, The anxiety will lessen. My last drinking adventure had me in anxiety for 3 days. It was insane how anxious and terrible I felt. I just did the next best thing and eventually went into a state of calm. I do have GAD for what it is worth.
Shoveling snow sounds like a good workout and will def expend some of that anxious energy. Its good to hear you had a good nights sleep and also that you are hungry. All signs that you are moving in the right direction.
