Hi weekenders - I've been having a rough few days. Over nine months of no booze. Proud of that, but the waking up and realizing what a vegetable I was for so many years has been really saddening. The real me is awake now and I have to go with that and let all the old ways drift away. Grateful I can come here to share that, as I'm pretty alone here. But in many ways that is a good thing. Forces me to reconnect with myself.
