Hang in there Suze! I know it seems so sad and hopeless, especially with how far along he was... but you have to remember that all is not lost. Slips happen, for alcholics and for us. Changing behavior takes time, and lots and lots of patience. The best you can do is to keep loving him, and let him know that your faith is not shaken, and won't be shaken, no matter what.
