Patcha - wow you must have an interesting and somewhat confronting job. I laughed at you seeking your bank account's permission to retire. I sort of did something similar when I quit my last job. I thought I might be able to string out the funds until my real retirement age, but I would have been pushing if I lived beyond 65. So I guess I am thankful that I have a chance to take on an interesting 30 hour a week position and still have lots of long weekends to explore all the wonderful places close to home.
Kaptn - from this cyber distance, I think your hubby is right. You are such an active shark! I get the joy of volunteering. I'm really enjoying the volunteer work that I've been doing, but it is only about 6 hours a week I will be sad if I can't keep it up after returning to work. It isn't so much the hours but the times will clash with my working hours. Looking forward to seeing your photos of your haunted house.
