Like a lot of other people I’m not feeling like I’m on top of the world but my resolve to maintain my sobriety is strong. Most importantly, the things I’m doing to stay sober do not
feel like burdens. I enjoy AA meetings and the people in AA. I like participating on the SR boards. I like living without substances and practicing the skills of life I learn here and in AA. I’m proud of myself and I hope to continue on this path indefinitely. I have faith that my future is better if I don’t drink. I am not suffering to the same degree the anxiety of my first couple weeks of sobriety. I do struggle with cravings at times but I have not succumbed. That’s all I have. Happy Friday!
