So glad to hear from you EVOO. I remember you from a while ago when I was really struggling and always liked your threads and replies. I also have IBD - ulcerative colitis - for 35 years and I know how maddening are the flare ups and remissions. I used to think that drinking was the only thing that would make me feel better but as you say it only makes it worse in the end. Now 2 plus years sober and have been able to stay off the prednisone which I have to take when the UC gets really bad. Only did the biologic once - it's such a tricky disease. Your positive attitude comes through and I think this is of utmost importance.
