LMN, what a blessing loving your new life and making peace with your old life now too, when you are ready and not when you were still struggling and vulnerable yourself. God's timing is perfect. Good for your ex for finding sobriety, I pray he can hang on to it and live a better and healthier life. It is good you can be friends, that's not often the case. I know you know the drill and will let time tell the tale.
