I got sober at 29 I'm 58 now it's been about 1/2 my life.
The adjustment I made was to replace
the learned bad habit of drinking with the new learned good habit of AA meetings. Since I've always gone to meetings, I've never thought about drinking. Zoom meetings for now until the rooms open up.
