Day 667.
I came close today to drinking. I was in no immediate danger of drinking, but I was starting to make a plan in my head of heading to the local shop and buying a bottle of vodka.
I am dealing with a recent bereavement, plus my own ongoing mental health issues were especially problematic today, cover all this with the lockdown we are in and I think for a brief moment I had given up.
I had something to eat instead and then went for a few hours lie down and the thoughts of alcohol seem to have subsided now.
It's tough times for us all at the moment, stay strong and safe out there everyone.
