Almost 1am here and I can't sleep. Anyone else got lockdown insomnia? I feel tired in the evenings but then as soon as I try to fall asleep, I just can't. Great to read the positive news about uncle Marty, Goose.... Will be praying his breathing test goes well tomorrow. Praying for Marty and Boris and everyone else sleeping in intensive care units all over the world and all the nurses and doctors caring for them..... Wish I could do something to help.
I am now officially a NHS volunteer .... Sadly I don't have the skills to do anything medical but I can deliver food and medicine to those in isolation and make phone calls to isolating people to check they're doing ok. It's the tiniest drop in the ocean of help but at least it's something. Need to try to get to sleep now so I might go out into the garden and see if I can see the moon. Seeing the moon might help me sleep. That's not weird is it? I was thinking about sewing name labels into the kids school uniforms .... Thought that might make me tired enough to sleep. You see, I've always been the kind of mum that writes her kids names illegibly in biro on the labels in their school clothes and I've always wanted to be the kind of mum that sews their names beautifully into their school uniforms. But I've never had the time. Until now. But getting the needle and thread out at 1am is a bit odd, even for me so instead I think I'll try to see the moon and then count sheep. In my head. I don't own sheep. Stay safe lovely people... Let's keep going, love you all xxx
