What do you mean not essential??? Same thing only different, I have had an impacted ear due to earwax for two weeks now. My health plan is with a large hospital consortium and all facilities are only available for in person visits for emergencies and my ear and subsequent lack of hearing in the one ear is not considered an emergency. I asked them if they wanted a second opinion...they did not LOL!
