One Day At A Time
It is Easter evening and all I can say is a Giant thank you to
my higher power for giving me such a wonderful day.
Yesterday I though my world was shattered again by my daughters drinking and after she detoxed herself last weekend
putting herself through the hell of body shakes, vomiting blood
and other manifistations of trying to come off of heavy drinking,
she was at it again. So, of cource fear set in , doom and gloom
and would my daughter live another day ?
Today she and the rest of my family were here for a beautiful day
of kick ball, kite flying, fishing at the pond and eating out doors.
God granted us another day !
Living each day takes some getting used to but I try.
I read my literature, I pray (yesterday my sponser 's prayer became mine when i didnt have it in me to do that)
Anyway, today my cup's running over with gratitude
and I still have the hope I thought I lost.
