Aims and objectives..
During my recovery and perhaps more importantly during the current world crisis. I have and do now in my daily living pursue the following aims and objectives.

You do that by maintaining your equanimity, mental calmness , composure and evenness of temper even in the most difficult of situations.
This is assisted by the fact that,'The only power you have is over your mind, everything else is external. Remember this and you WILL gain strength,' Marcus Aurelius
Neither do I see replacing the much vaunted word, hope in terms of the first Stoic Virtue, practical wisdom.The others being temperance (self control), courage in dealing with others and yourself, and to be just in dealing with your environment.
