Hey NY, this is about my recovery. Step work, sponsor and all that goes with it. I’m trying to corral my resentments and it’s proving difficult. Apparently, I’m not big on forgiveness.
The hardest things in life are resentments. Steps 4 & 5 can be a huge reliever of the pain of resentment. And when I'm upset with anyone I ask "what's MY part in this?" which can dissolve a resentment in a nanosecond. Of course I must be willing to let go of grudges which can sometimes feel virtuous. It's all a process and for me it's two steps forward, one back.
