School has been motivational to me, and without sobriety I would never be achieving my goal of getting a college degree. I start my 4th semester in two weeks--with a 3.7 GPA, I am on the school's honors list, and a member of Phi Theta Kappa honor society. After getting my AA I plan on continuing towards a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work. I am 59 years old and just celebrated my 4th year of sobriety--it is never too late to be motivated to seek your dreams, but if I'd still been drinking, unfulfilled dreams they would've remained.
