Um, the truth is that I did not decide to quit that day. To cut a long story short, I thought it was the Ist Jan. I had been drunk and isolated since the 26th Dec and somehow thought I had slept through New Years Eve. It came as a bit of a shock when I switched the TV on that evening to find it was still 2014 for a few more hours. Not good times at all.
Once again thank you so much for all the messages of support, they are a much needed boost at this time of year.
Less than 6 and a half hours until the new decade.
