It struck me that the "and rise" part of the title of this thread sounds a bit grandiose. I haven't transformed superhero style into some improbable new person. It's just that being a regular person is so much better than the drunk I used to be - that is all "the rise" meant. It wasn't easy to get there so there is a sense of achievement too. I'm somewhere between The Green Lantern and a dead cat bounce.
