The Power of Crying: Tears Heal

"It is good to cry. It is healthy to cry. This helps to emotionally clear sadness and stress. Crying is also essential to resolve grief, when waves of tears periodically come over us when we experience loss. Tears help us process the loss so we can keep living with open hearts."

So as we pause, allow healthy expressions of emotions and tap into body-knowledge of healing and rejuvenation, self-care becomes a natural part of living. As we care for self first and fill our own cup, we enjoy a changed view of our own worth, value and strength. In weakness we find strength. In caring for ourselves we learn how to more deeply care for others in very healthy ways.
