Day 58, bad day at work, the higher ups throw new people under the bus, unfriendly co-workers, and a husband I do not trust at all. Still not drinking, it will not help any of this. I think I’m the first few months we sober up to how our lives really are, it’s often shocking and drives many people back to drinking. Yeah....I think this is really important stuff.
Sometimes that does happen: I know it did for me.
I was pretty shocked as well, different stuff....mostly around family and friends, but actually, my BF as well. I realised I was fooling myself big time about our future.....easy to do when I was in an alcoholic haze.
Sorry to hear that your coworkers are still being awful....for some reason I thought that had improved.
And it is really hard to be in a situation like that at home. I hope it gets better. Sending love and big hugs.
