Just over a week ago I hit my one year sober mark! I've not been on the forum much, as we've been so busy with our apartment purchase that I've not been online much in general. On Saturday I celebrated my Birthday sober, as I did last year. My friends were of course all drinking, but as always it didn't make me feel like I was missing anything.
I won't pretend every day this year has been perfect, but my worst days this year haven't even come close to the depression of any of my drinking days.
I wanted to jump on here and say thanks to SR and all the wonderful members here, as this has been my only resource needed in keeping sober. As a group, we've had a hand in helping many on their sober journey and I hope we will continue to do so for many more.
