You've been through a lot and it's great that your father is so supportive and that you are in a healing environment. On the blazer, jewelry issue: are there any high-end consignment shops in your area? It is possible to find some amazing bargains on good quality, barely worn business attire and tasteful costume jewelry. That would enable you to put together a professional look without breaking the bank. Just a thought.
