16 months
Sixteen months sober in a week or so. I really dont count anymore but it just occurred to me. I realized this weekend that I was really done for good. I've known for a while but for some reason it really sunk in. Maybe it was being around 25 drunken folks this weekend that did it. I shiver to think that I probably acted that way. I dont remember what alcohol tastes like, I dont remember what it's like to be drunk, and have zero desire to. It's just not a part of my life anymore and never will be. I'm happier and healthier than I have been since I was 17. Never for a second did I think I would be in this position 16 months ago. Just my thoughts today. Have a wonderful day sr folks.
