This. I genuinely do not understand how you had a seizure last week and ended up in hospital, haven't had a drink since Saturday but your doctor has now given you diazepam AND told you to start drinking again?
Tapering isn't something you do after a few days of cold turkey it's something you do gradually before you stop completely.
Did you get a second opinion from another doctor who does know about alcohol addiction and seizures? Honestly, it just sounds like you just want to keep on drinking and saying your doctor has told you to do it makes it ok.
And drinking whilst taking valium can be fatal
