When I had long term sobriety I could not take a vacation day for a year because I was afraid I would drink if I had any free time...so I think you are right on track with staying busy.
You will get to a point where you feel "safe" enough to slow down a little.
Sounds like you have a lot of good support and its nice to meet you....

It's nice to meet you, too and I'm glad you are here! 😊 yes, i know i wont always have to work at it so hard but i was one of those who "quit" every 2 weeks or so! and truly, if it wasn't for almost losing my job after another binge, I would probably still be drinking and "trying" to quit. It has been a bit lonely as i cant hang out with most people i know because they all drink and its way to soon for me to be able to handle that. But i know that someday, i won't be so vulnerable.
