Welcome, quit4good; I'm very glad you found us, and SR is a vital component of my sober journey; I hope it will be one of yours as well. I could never moderate my drinking-I have no 'off' switch once I have the first drink, and there is no predicting what will happen except that it will be horrifying. I have accepted (finally!) that if I take one more drink I will die; it will inevitably lead to my end. With a strong plan for sobriety and the help of the wonderful people here, I have been sober for 3 and a half years. I will never go back.
