Hey April peoples! - Not posted on this April thread yet.. I done a lot of posting on other threads - but thought I should post -
my last drink was between 02:00 and 03:00 on 6th April - cant remember time much. Had a few tough days at beginning detoxing, very confused for a few days really.
I done what people here suggested and I got through.
Also learned so much in that first week. Didn't even know what an alocholic was at first - I had a kind of muddled idea. I came here thinking I was going mad because of my behaviour when drunk, and learned that it is part of alcoholism.
It is so nice to be sleeping and eating again. Not been like this for years!
