I tried for years to quit drinking, too.
It wasn't until I reached out for help that I was able to stop.
In my case, it was AA. But there are other programs of recovery too.
I also came here and found support.
It's been over ten years since this drunk has had a drink, you can do it too.
Do whatever it takes. Put the time you use drinking and recovering into getting sober for good.
There is hope, and remember, you never have to drink again.
