The reason why SR is so great for people struggling with addiction is that we think we are struggling alone. We don't want to tell our family, friends, colleagues. There is a stigma in any place to admit 'I have a problem'.
I was reaching out for help for years. My mother just died from this disease of addiction. She drank herself to death. I saw it happening. I refuse to let that happen to me.
