Good for you! I was very relieved when I started IOP. I knew I needed help, and tools to help me stay sober. I got that, and more. I got a real education about the physical and mental mechanisms and effects of alcohol and alcoholism. That really helped me - I like facts. And the facts told me that alcohol is poison, and would surely kill me if I kept going.
