Thanks everyone for your comments. I forgot to mention that my daughters had a relapse in the last week and a half, so it was the worst timing for said friend to contact me.
We've had her meds boosted and we are waiting it to see if it helps. So far not so good, I spent the afternoon with her in the crisis clinic. She got to talk it out with someone and we have a plan so she's better for the moment.
