Erica0811, I would accept your help. This is day 18 without drinking and it is going ok. This group is my only means of support. I have not joined any other groups such as AA or outpatient rehab. Everyone else in my life either does not know, or does not seem to care, that I quit drinking.
They don't seem to care because not drinking is no big deal to them, for us it's not that simple. You can't really fault them for that.
