What a mess but also a blessing.
What a mess but also a blessing. Some of you may remember when i talked about my man being a drunk and abusive. Well i got adicted to meth and cocaine and was well on my way to more when i spent 11 days in ICU fighting for my life. You can read about these in my other postes. Well my boyfriend ended back in jail and i ended in the ICU not long after he went to jail. We now are both clean and sober. He did drugs to. For him this is the first time he cleaned up his act on his own on the outside of those jail bars. Im proud of him. We now do our morning christian talk and learn to grow together. I grew up going to church. So i know allot of what he is learning. It makes my heart so warm to see him learn this and to here him see how it did and does effect his life. In decision and how he treated people. I now this will be harder for him than me. He has been a drinking since he was about 8 or 9. Stealing his dads to escape from the abuse. Im so proud of him. I asked the other day why he choose to get clean and sober. He said he is done with living like that. He wants to have a clean sober life with me as i do with him and my event in ICU. I am aware he has a very high chance of relapse compared to me. Not saying it cant happen to me. But i now i have the restraint to say no and have done many times already. I even had a neighbor ask me how i do it. (Stay clean) all i could say it is hard but work at it day by day. I have not seen her much. But i hope she is succeeding herself. I know it is tough for many. My ex-dealer is my neighbor. And there is drugs sold everywere were i live. Dont have to walk far to find what you want. It is sad to see. So many people get taken to the hospital for over dosing in my neighborhood. Only one lady has died a few years back. Well almost done at the laundry mat. Im getting tired. Body still has allot of healing to do. Take care everyone.
