I asked myself many times what was the point of being sober - bad things happened to me spber...
but now I can see the bad things like overdue bills, no money, no sick leave,losing jobs, breakups - all that stuff came from my drinking, not from being sober.
I never gave sobriety a chance because the minute I had money again I'd drink...and the cycle of 'bad things' continued....
Its a leap of faith but you can trust me (and the thousands of other sober people here)
sober really is the best way to live for drinkers like you and me.
Stick with it - things can and will get better - if you stay on the right road
