I can't believe how much my life has changed and my problems have melted away since I gave up drinking".
Frankly I think the folks that experience this are far fewer than those of us that just enjoy some simple, but HUGE, improvements in life.
At first the stuff that normal people experience (like not puking in the morning) seem soooo amazing. And they are. Then it becomes normal. But hey, I will never tire of restful, peaceful mornings! Absolutely my favorite time of day.
