^^^This. Without an officially diagnoses, you won't be able to move forward.
We had seen some signs in one of our boys, that reminded me of my dad's behavior years ago. And I was suspicious that I was for awhile myself.
Now that I know what I am dealing with, I can see the triggers coming on and deal with it better. Not 100%, but better.
