Happy Friday, Weekenders! I'm so glad to be here.

Tomorrow, 9/1, I am starting a "new" Day 1. But...it is not only alcohol related..that part is actually around Day 3 or 4.

Without going into a lot of details, I just started seeing a psychotherapist who specializes in relationships and addictions. Just what I need! Anyway, after our first session yesterday we came up with a new plan that incorporates not only being alcohol free, but having a healthy diet, diligent exercise plan, daily meditations, daily recovery support, interpersonal work, and a whole lot of other stuff. We decided that this "new" Day 1 would be on September 1st. A lot of "new" stuff wrapped up into one.

So, here I am ...starting the weekend and the month on a "new" Day 1. Clock strikes at midnight, tonight then we spring into "action"!

I look forward to getting to know you all better as time goes on.
