A smidge of chocolate is like a smidge of alcohol. No good at all to the real addict lol.

I'm laughing, but in OA (Overeaters Anon) plenty of people have trigger foods that they make the decision to avoid. Just as we avoid taking the first drink, they avoid taking the first bite. I know there are certain foods that, if I'm honest, they only way I want to eat them is 'until I feel sick'. Food can be complex. And it can be a cross-addictors dream / nightmare as well, because bingeing and restricting can be done so secretively and with so much of that rationalisation we're so good at that we start to believe it ourselves.

Dunno where you are in the world, but if it's the UK maybe treat yourself to some of the cherries they have in Sainsburys at the moment. Boy, they're good!

Good luck on the healthy eating and exercising,

BB
