I will say that after laughing at him I helped him.
Whenever I speak to someone - a customer, a waiter, hotel receptionist or railway official - in French they invariably answer me in English which is a little bit demotivating.
I suspect I speak French like a barbarian but who can tell?
This car sold a couple of days ago at the Goodwood Festival of Speed for £10,100,000. It's a 1961 Aston Martin DB4 Zagato Coupe that was raced by former F1 World Champions Jim Clark and Denny Hulme and is one of the prettiest sports cars ever built. That said I am a bit irritated by the price as it is not really the 1961 car. That has been involved in a total write off no less than three times. Still, I wouldn't say no I suppose.
