Last thing and I'll stop. One thing about traveling alone is that you are more tuned into what's going on around you. I saw many couples and families arguing with each other. They were definitely not having a good time.
I remember when I got divorced, how many of my closest friends would come to me and tell me how miserable they were in their relationships, when on the outside, they all seemed so happy. Some actually told me they wished they were in my situation. Things are not always what they seem. Always look for healthy relationships, but don't think they are as common as you might think.
