One of the first things I did on my Day 1 was to look through the Books on Recovery thread and choose one to buy. I chose Marcus Aurelius' Meditations. It should arrive today.
Every 2 week pay period, I'm going to buy another book, maybe used, but always hardcover. The first few will definitely be from the Books on Recovery thread. After that, I'll have to see how I feel about subject matter.
I've made books part of my plan, though, and one of the things that will replace the space I devoted in my life to drinking. I choose books over bottles!
