I mocked my youngest daughter for for paying out money to watch the football at a big open air screen at a club (called The Enchanted Garden) but she has had the last laugh as she seems to have found the coolest place to watch it, news crews seem to like visiting and it is totally sold out now.
I will be watching it with friends too but will only arrive a quarter of an hour before kick off. It has only just gone 11.35am and lots of people are drinking already. A kind of touchstone newspaper headline in Britain when it is exceptionally warm is "Phew what a scorcher!" We are in that territory today.
