Thank you guys very much for the encouragement <3

Can't sleep... kind of dreading tomorrow. I'm not really close to anyone at the wedding except the host. It's my boyfriend's aunt and we are mostly going to be supportive of her and help her if she needs it, since it's at her beautiful home and she's expecting drunk people. Especially since she just treated us to a lovely trip to Oregon, we decided we should be there.

But how does one in early recovery have FUN at an event like this? I don't want to be miserable, I want to be happy for them and cheers their love with my sparkling juice but when you know the husband (bf's distant cousin) is hiding a coke problem and not hiding an alcohol problem... Ugh I don't even know. Maybe asking to have fun is too much. Maybe just surviving it and being present and as helpful as possible is enough.
