Excuses
I'm new to this but this conversation caught my eye. I recently divorced my alcoholic husband. Although he has been sober for several years, with occassional lapses, he continued to exhibit the alcoholic personality. Anything that happened was never his fault; it was always mine. When he started shoving me into walls and doors and leaving very large, very noticeable bruises, I decided it was time to leave. He has continued to harrass me since I filed for divorce and since the divorce is final. Any suggestions on how to deal with this situation?
