I couldn't have said it better Primativo. Day 69 for me. Very similar stories. I'm 54 and have been drinking since the age of 16. An awakening is an accurate word to describe what's happening.
I'm so grateful to have the opportunity to live again. It's been an emotional roller coaster but that's okay. This site has been a Godsend. They say it gets a lot better after 90 days.
